At 240 miles long, Green River’s dramatic backdrop, the Book Cliffs, comprise the longest continuous escarpment in the world. Various deer, elk, pronghorn, bighorn sheep, black bears, and mountain lions call the Book Cliffs home.
The Green River carves through the Book Cliffs, creating world-class rapids in Desolation and Lower Gray Canyons and a beautiful riverside beach just north of town.
The Book Cliffs Guestroom provides sweeping views of the Green River and the Book Cliffs. Relax and take in the brilliant pink and orange sunsets over this impressive geological feature.
